If both partners want to try a change, choose a check-in date together. ## How to Use the Responses Compare the accounts of noticing, planning and doing before discussing a different arrangement. Different answers can reveal work that was not visible to the other person; they do not establish who is right. Use the completion-expectation question to define what the task includes. Agree on one change and who will handle the whole process, then review how the trial felt. Do not calculate a fairness or relationship-health score from these answers. ## What the Research Adds Daminger’s 2019 study used 70 interviews with members of 35 couples. The abstract describes cognitive labor as “anticipating needs, identifying options for filling them, making decisions, and monitoring progress.” That distinction informs the separate noticing, planning and doing questions here. They can answer separately first if both prefer, then discuss the same task. Sharing answers must be voluntary. ### Does an unequal split mean the arrangement is unfair? The questionnaire cannot decide that. Available time, capacity and agreed responsibilities differ. Use the answers to discuss what each person wants to change. ### Can this diagnose a relationship problem?
