A reported sense of safety is a perception, not a verified hazard assessment. Potter, Chicoine and colleagues surveyed residents of three renovated housing buildings and examined management, wayfinding, safety, comfort and adequacy. Their university-hosted abstract reports “Safety and perception were significant for all buildings”. No. Tell residents where to report a repair or urgent safety issue directly, because a survey is not a service queue. ### Should the form ask for an apartment number? Leave it out by default. If a resident wants follow-up, offer a separate optional contact route and state how it will be used. ### What should managers do with the answers?
