# Comment Box

Comment Box is used when you want respondents to write longer answers, comments, explanations, or paragraphs.

Use this field when a short Text Box would not give respondents enough room to express their answer clearly.

Comment Box questions give respondents room for longer open-ended feedback.

## Settings

After adding a Comment Box question to your survey, click or tap on it to activate edit mode and access the settings panel.

You can customize the Comment Box field for longer written answers.
