# Number Box

Number Box is similar to a text box, but is adjusted to accept numeric values as input.

Use this field when you expect participants to answer with a number. It helps keep text-based entries out of numeric data, which makes the collected responses easier to calculate and compare. Good examples include age, quantity, income, or other numeric values.

## Settings

After adding a Number Box question to your survey, click or tap on it to activate edit mode and access the settings panel.

You can customize the Number Box field so respondents enter clean numeric data that works well in reports and statistics.
